About

Community Health Entrepreneurship

Since 2022, our Community Health Entrepreneurship programme has supported rural women to become health entrepreneurs, promoting wellbeing through basic diagnostics and screening for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Community Health Entrepreneurs, or CHEs, bridge the last-mile diagnostics gap, enabling community members, particularly women, to take charge of their own health.

The Model

Foundational and ongoing health knowledge that CHEs carry into community-level impact.

Peer support and enterprise development, rooted in local trust.

Technology that helps CHEs track, communicate and deliver basic health diagnostics.

Essential diagnostics delivered at the door steps with connectivity to medical practitioners.

CHEs are proof that community health does not need to wait for a clinic to arrive. It can be carried, door to door, by a woman her neighbours already trust.
